I was born in North Kansas City and raised in Blue Springs, MO. After graduating from Blue Springs High School, I attended Longview Community College before continuing on to Missouri State University, where I earned my degree in Marketing.
I am proud to serve as the Community Liaison for Meyers Funeral Chapel. It’s an amazing place to work, with people whose passion and care for this community truly shines.
I joined Rotary because both my employer and I share a deep commitment to making Blue Springs the best it can be. No one should have to go through hard times alone, and I believe our Rotary Club can make a meaningful difference wherever help is needed.
I’m an “all-in” type of person—so if I’m going to be part of this club, I want to be fully engaged, including serving on the board.
Outside of work, I enjoy life with my husband, Shane, and our two amazing kids—Olivia (age 4) and Cav (age 2). I’m soaking in every minute of watching them grow up. I’m also proud to help run the Jake Cavanaugh Foundation with my parents, in memory of my brother who passed away from cancer at the age of 22 in 2010. Through the foundation, we continue his legacy by supporting families facing childhood cancer.
